Today, 25th April 2015, Australian Federal Police, backed by Riot Police, prevented a peaceful march as part of the ANZAC Centenary. Representatives and those of all colours marching in solidarity came to the ANZAC Day Centenary Parade from all over the country. They gathered to honour the Black Diggers and all those who died and have been forgotten since the Frontier Wars (the first wars this country ever saw).
During this peaceful protest, one of the First Nations Elders was harassed by Senior Sergeant Adrian Crank who threatened to use his taser without any reasonable provocation.
